Getting Started
Each event has three roles - pick yours to see what's involved.
- Sign in and create an eventSign in with Discord to begin creating an event. Fill out information like event name, start/end dates and timezone. Optionally add a signup questionnaire that lets you collect information on participants like gear, levels, PVM experience or any other criteria you may want to filter on when picking teammates.
- Discord setupAfter setting up the event, go ahead and link a Discord server via Discord Integration. We recommend creating a fresh server to host the event in. This keeps history in one place and means you don't have to clean up after the event is finished.
- Build the boardAdd tiles to the bingo board, set point values per tier, and arrange them as needed.
- Create teamsAdd teams with custom names. You'll use this screen to apply captains for each team once sign-ups are open.
- Sync DiscordOnce teams are locked in, you can Sync Roles and Channels from Discord Integration. This will automatically create roles, channels and permissions for you.
- Open signupsYou can now open signups and participants can sign up for the event via the link in the settings. You should make sure your captains have signed up early and are set as captains of their respective teams.
- Assigning participants to teamsFrom the Event → Participants section, assign each signup to a team (or auto-assign if you're lazy). If picking live, each captain has access to a Participant Roster screen where they can filter and decide on who is the next best pick.
- Going liveBefore you flip the event live, go back to Discord Integration and run Assign Members one more time. This is what actually applies each participant's team role based on their final assignment - without it, participants won't have a team role and won't be able to see their team channels. Once that's done, mark the event as live and get grinding!
