Terms of Service

The Service

07 Bingo helps Old School RuneScape (OSRS) clans organise and run bingo events: building boards, forming teams, tracking submissions and Skill XP progress, and syncing Discord roles and channels. It is an independent fan-made tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jagex Ltd or Discord Inc.

Accounts

You sign in to 07 Bingo using Discord. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your Discord account when using the Service, including submissions made on your behalf by an event admin.

The Discord Bot

When an event organiser adds the 07 Bingo Bot to a Discord server, it requests the following permissions to do its job:

• Manage Roles: to create and assign team, captain, and administrator roles.
• Manage Channels: to create and organise private team and captain channels.
• Manage Nicknames: to set a member's server nickname to their registered RSN.
• Ban Members: so event organisers can remove a disruptive or cheating participant from the server.
• Create Instant Invite: to generate invite links so participants can join the event's Discord server.
• View Channels, Send Messages, Read Message History, and Pin Messages: to post and manage messages in the channels it needs, such as tile submissions, approvals, and pinned signup instructions.
• Server Members and Message Content access: to see server members for role assignment, and read submission messages and screenshots posted in channels it has access to.

The bot only takes these actions in service of running your bingo event. An event organiser can remove the bot from their server at any time, which stops all of this.

Event Organiser Responsibilities

If you create or administer an event, you are responsible for:

• The accuracy of the board, rules, and signup questions you configure.
• Moderating your own Discord server and resolving disputes between participants. 07 Bingo just tracks scores and submissions, it does not referee gameplay disputes.
• Making sure any signup questions you add do not request sensitive personal information you do not need.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal, harassing, or abusive.
• Submit fraudulent or manipulated proof for bingo tiles.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service or the Discord bot, for example by spamming submissions or exploiting bugs to gain unfair scores.
• Use the Service to impersonate another player or misrepresent your OSRS account.

Availability and Changes

07 Bingo is provided as a hobby project, on a best-effort basis, with no guaranteed uptime. Features may change, and the Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice. We rely on Discord's API and Jagex's Hiscores API to function, and are not responsible for outages or changes on their end.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost data, scoring errors, disputes between clan members, or any other damages arising from your use of the Service, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Termination

We may suspend or remove access to the Service, or remove the bot from a server, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or the Service is being abused.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
